While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and illness . The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time .
